Just purchased 06 202prov and need info

Just purchased a 2006 202 proV fitted with a Mercury 225 ProXS. Test drove the boat before buying it and it rode OK but not great. It seemed to want to chine walk rather quickly and i am not sure about the contol of the boat. It has a 26 pitch 3 blade prop and a 17in hack plate. Any suggestions on improving the ride and control would be apprecaited. I live in the DFW area and it seems the wind is always a factor on our local lakes with waves from 2 to 4 feet not being uncommon.

The boat is a single console and i would like to purchase a passenger console if anyone has a suggestion on where i could find one.

I don't know where you live, but you can probably get a console from Blazer.
