Mechanical Trouble on a 200 Mercury

I'm currently experiencing some mechanical trouble with a 200 Merury EFI. The motor will start up quickly but soon stalls once you begin to accelerate with throttle. Once the motor has stalled it can quickly be started once again to repeat the same mechanical failure. I've checked the PSI on the fuel injection check valve and its reading the correct fuel pressure. I know the new model models have several fuel filters on the engine. Any thoughts on what the problem could be? I would appreciate any insight, thanks.
