CAPLUG RCL-12

I found this red plug on the floor of the boat. I have looked under the dash to see if it jiggled loose and fell onto the floor, but nothing. This plug has caplug RCL-12 stamped on the bottom of the plug and it is red in color with a white 3-prong connector on the other end. If any one knows what this is, will you please let me know. Everything on the dash seems to be in working order.
