202 pro V Gas tanks.

Do you have to switch gas tanks or do they feed each other. If you dont is it possible that they do if the valve is broken. I filled both tanks the other day and ran alot. When the guage on the starbard tank was getting low I swithched the guage to the port and it said it was at a quarter tank when it read full before the day started. I never manualy switched tanks.

This same thing happens to my 202 as well, even if one tank starts with more fuel by the end of the day, it seems they both are equal. I think my selector valve is not working correctly, but never replaced it????

You can run off of one or both tanks at the same time. There is a valve in your bilge storage area (depending on what year) as well as the controls in the cockpit.

I have a 210 ProV 2004. If I understand this correctly, and I position my fuel selector switch in the middle (between P & S) it will suck fuel from each tank at the same time, and if so, the fuel guage (no matter what tank the switch is looking at) will indicate the fuel level in both tanks???????
