Trolling motor control recessed

Postby Cthorne » Thu Feb 21, 2008 3:52 pm

I have a 1998 202 and am wondering if it is possible to buy a plastic recessed tub for the foot controls and have it installed. Will it hurt the deck or cause any other problems?

We havent done a 98 but we just did an 04 install. It shouldnt be a problem. Blazer sells a metal one that is an option on the 08s, it's already painted black too.

I just picked up my 08 210 Monday at the plant in Pensacola. I had my own tray, a little heavier than the one furnished by Blazer. They cut the hole in the deck, and even carpeted it to match the deck. The model I have, btw, is Troll Eze. ( http://www.troll-eze.com ) If you want a closer picture let me know and I'll get one.

Thank You. I had one made out of 1/8th aluminum and mounted myself. This may have ben the scaryest thing I have ever done but definatly worth it on my back.
