do you use transom tie downs?

The Starline trailer that came with my new 1960 doesn't have any transom tie downs eyelets. My dealer said that transom tie downs are unnecessary but I'm wondering what the general opinion is on this topic. Do other Blazer Bay owners have / use transom tie downs? I don't really feel the boat moving around when I tow it, but my other boats have always had them, so it makes me a little nervous not having them there.

I've been looking around online for a kit that I could use to add my own own eyelets but I haven't found anything yet. Basically, what I'd like is a u-bolt (easy to find) that could be used to attach a plate with an eyelet welded on (impossible to find). Anyone have any other ideas or know where I might find something like this?

I have transom tie downs on my 2220 pro. The tie downs hook in an eye bolt on the bottom of the bunks. Just get an eye bolt with wood threads and screw it in the bunk. Just make sure you don't go through.
