2170 Electronics and gas fill issues.

Yep the tank is in the rear, starts around the console, runs to the hatch under the leaning post.

I removed the hatch once to just have a look.. Turns out the fill and vent lines are at the very rear of the tank so if the boat is bow up there both liquid lines.

The dealer shortened the vent line, and it helped tremendously. They tried to fix the GPS problem, but it still cuts off constantly. If anyone knows anything about the Garmin 498 GPS/Sonar, I sure could use some direction here. As I said in the original post, the unit completely loses power when I go through the slightest chop. At first, the dealer thought the inline fuse was the problem, but they cut it out and it's still cutting off. Thanks again.

the one thing i would try is.... to run a cable to the battery from the unit and have no splices and see what happens,then work from there..process of elimitations.is it a external ant or internal ant....
