I bought a 2009 Blazer Bay 2220 Fisherman with a F200 Yamaha - it is a great boat - it has trim tabs and a jackplate - after I finished the break-in period on the new motor- I opened it up - here are the numbers - with 60 gallons of gas, 3 men, 2 coolers, and fishing equiptment - WOT - 48 -49 mph (GPS) and 5600 RPM - it has a 23 pitch 3 blade prop - do these numbers sound right or do I need to change to a different prop size- it has a very good hole shot and rides great - I am very pleased - anyone have any suggestions or should I leave the prop alone - I am not a speed guy and usually run 38 - 40 mph - I imagine that it would likely run 52-53 with a light load - I am just not sure if it should turn more rpms at WOT - thanks -
