Jack Plates

Can anyone tell me how much of a set back jack plate to use. I have a 2220 w/150. I have heard 10" is best and someone else said 6" is enough. Would like to hear from anyone who might have some experience on this before I go spend 1000.00.

I thought jackplates were factory on most of the liner boats ?

id get a 10". thats what the 2220 pro and 2420 pro come standard with.

get a 10" bob's jack plate. don't screw with the cmc units.
