2200 or 2220 Fisherman

What are the different applications for these two boats? These boats seem very similar with the main difference being the increased dead rise on the 2200 and slightly (1") less draft on the 2220. With the incresed dead rise on the 2200, I would assume it would be more suitable for rougher water, while the 2220 would be more usable in skinny water?.

Which would be better suited for inland marsh around Leeville and Venice, and short trips to the rigs in Lake Borne? What would be the minimum horsepower for each boat.

I recently purchased a used 2200. It handles the chop of the Mississippi Sound very well. When inquiring with the local dealer about purchasing a 2220, it was strongly suggested that I go with the 2170 which is the same boat as the 2200 minus the inside liner. I was told that the 2220 is a rougher ride in chop.

Is a Yamaha F150 enough power for the 2200?

I own the 2200 with a F150 on it and love it. The boat lightly loaded will run in the upper 40's to lower 50's. I honestly don't feel any need for more power. The boat gets great fuel economy is a very dry ride and is plenty fast enough for me.
