T-top

How should I mount my t top. It came with screws to mount to the floor but everything I've read you don't want to use screws.

I installed a fishmaster folding tee top on my boat and couldn't be happier. My only regret is not doing it the first year I bought my 2020. It came with marine adhesive and screws and it is a solid install. I have been in some really extremely nasty conditions in Galveston Bay, no issues. Been there a few times with a passenger hanging on for life. No issues.
