What size jack plate ?

I have a 2007 2220 fisherman with a 150 Suzuki 4 stroke(25"shaft) that I want to add a jack plate to, what size setback does everyone recommend ?

I believe you can get the boats with a 10" Bobs Hyd.

you are aware that the 2220 fish has a 20" transom.

the pro models come standard with a 10" bobs. the rear deck around the motor is designed alot different than the fish model so you need at least a 10" setback.
your fish model is designed to not need any setback. so you can use just a 4" setback so you dont move the center of gravity back too far.
however if you are looking to move weight to the back for more speed, ect. a 10" or 12" setback would work

yes I know the fisherman has a 20" transom. I bought the boat used and it came with the 25" shaft motor. Thats why I want to put a jack plate on it because the motor sits way to low for shallow water.

I think I am going to go with the high speed cmc 10" set back just because the pump is already in the jack plate and I wont have to mount it elsewhere. Wasnt sure if I needed the 10" set back or not though.

understand where your at. i bought my 2220 pro used and it came with a 25" motor. lucky it came with a jack plate so its not that big of a deal.

can i make a suggestion.
get a 4" manual JP that will lift it 4-5" then put a 6" hydro JP behind that. that way you can get the most out of the lifting capability of the JP
