2004 Blazer Bay 2200 storage Problems

I have a 2004 blazer bay 2200, love the boat except that theres no seals on the hatches and all the rod boxes and storage compartments get water in them when I fish and there are no drains for the water to get out so I'm stuck getting in there with a shop vac everytime I take her out!

Been contemplating drilling drain holes in the storage bins to allow the water that gets it to drain to the bilge but concerned that the stringers may not have drain holes through them to allow the water to run out the bilge through the back.

Anyone done this?

Should I drill away?

I've never had that issue with mine. I have an 07 2220 pro. I'll see how mine is setup and let you know.

I do have holes in my rod boxes. They are from the factory
