200 Suzuki overheating alarm

Has anyone had issues with their Suzuki overheat alarm going off? It goes off about every 3-4 trips and only does it for about 30 seconds. Once it quits it's good to go for a couple of more trips. It's done it when I pulled off the trailer, and full throttle. New thermostats and water pump. Any suggestions?

Not sure if you have the digital gauges like me running on the nmea 2000 system. My alarm went off a couple of times. Come to find out I just had a bad engine interface cable going tot he gauges.
