I bought a 2007 2170 6 weeks ago and I was smelling fuel pretty bad, especially in the hatches. Mostly I would tend to smell the most when I ran the boat hard and then set it down. Couldn't see anything under the floor leaking, even when idling the engine I was looking under the floor but couldn't find the leak. Eventually I pulled the Fuel/water seperator out and found that the filter was not screwing all the way in and was leaking when I gave it alot of throttle, Leaked Under Pressure. I cleaned up the housing and bought a couple of new filters. Oh yeh, the boat actually runs a little faster since it's getting all the fuel. May want to check it out.
