sorry if yall think i was arguing, i was trying to help tedwards out, unfortuantly with the industery so far down i am not there any more to handle these type issues. maybe the marine buisiness will pick up soon and i can go back and continue building a great product. just trying to help with a few issues.

when you go to Blazerboats.com then click Bay Boats then click 1960. you will see an inside of boat picture and you can see the pole racks on each side of the hull (inside). I would like to mount some like this in my boat but i don't want to drill hole through the hull.

use a 3/4 inch screw and 5200 marine sealant you will be fine, there is a small space between the inner aand outter liner

butch, when screwing through the deck or inner surfaces of the boat should I pre drill a hole first before screwing a screw? Or is it safe to screw into the glass without a pre drilled hole.

it is defenatly safer to pre drill the hole, this will stop any cracking of the gel coat, after you drill pilot hole take your screw driver bit and kinda round the outer edges of the hole, this will eliminate cracks in the future.
