2o2 blazer lots of chinewalking need info

have a 202 with hpdi 300 27 pitch prop 10'' jackplate propshaft 1/2 '' below pad the boat walks around alot about 70 have alot of tackle in the boat the boat will run about 82 but not very stable do i need to change my jackplate what do you recomend thanks

You need to really work on balancing the load in your rig and getting your prop balanced and blueprinted will help as well, then seat time, seat time, and more seat time. Going to a 15in. jackplate will help your overall performance. I have the same set up, except I have a 15in. plate and a Hydro Tec 300 on mine, when it was stock, it would run 85-86 tourney loaded with 2 people.

If your boat is chineing real bad, your motor needs to come up. What happens when a boat chines is it is lifting the complete back of the boat (PAD) out of the water and your boat is telling you it wants back down. Come up very small incraments at a time, when you find that sweet spot, you will know it. It will run top end, and you wont have to fight it, just drive that baby!
