2170 on a torsion tandem axle trailer , Works good ?

I'm looking at getting a 2170 , having a hard time choosing between a 1960 . Anybody got a 2170 how ya'll like 'em ?
Got a couple questions

Is a flip flop seat or leaning post standard ?

Why does the 2170 not come standard with a jack plate ?

Will a 130 qt ice chest fit between the console and front deck ?

I have a 2170 with a f-150 4 stroke yamaha double tandem trailer, and yes
I really like my 2170. It handles tough situations when it gets rough, and
is able to draft around 11-12 inches no problem.

Flip seats are standard. I went with the leaning post which I strongly recommend.

as far as the jackplate my Dealer said that he felt it was not needed. After I purchased
the boat I agree. Now I lived in TX/LA perhaps that would be different. I do not encounter
a lot of area's that I need this.

Not sure if the 130 gallon ice chest would fit. I think my ice chest is a 94 under my leaning
post, maybe a 72. I also have 2 live wells. One is under the seat in the console. I like to
put my food in drinks in there.

I got some really good quates , I thinnk I'm gonna go this weekend and sign that lign . I'm gonna have to get the 2 stroke 150 to make it more affordable . My only fear is getting a boat to big . I started out looking at the 1860 , man its grown up !
I'm not sure to get a leaning post or the flip flop . Never been in a boat with a leaning post and I know the flip flop would come in handy when anchored fishing out the back .

I dont think you can get one that is to big...i have a 22 and if i found the right deal i would move up to a 24...but its all in what your needs are...if you can get a steal of a deal on a bigger boat then do it...becasue then if the family wants to go out or a few more friends wanna go fish then its not to crowded

The boat is a 2006, and it is a starline torsion tandem trailer. Something else
to think about with the cooler seat vs the leaning post. Most people that have
had both prefer the leaning post. My Dealer also pointed out that it would bother

redesigned this problem since I purchased my boat. I already knew from my fishing
club (ACFA) that everyone I had spoken to agreed on the leaning post. I hope this

the leanpost is standard these days, i would get the delux lean post not the regular one. we started putting a taller console in the 2170 a couple years ago unless you are at least 6 feet tall the cooler seat will be to low.

I just got the 2170 to the house . I bought it from Crown Leisure in Biloxi Ms . I haver never been treated better . The whole "buying a big ticket item" went smooth , no stomach aches . Love the delux leaning post . The 2170 has everything I want in a boat . Fishability
