2200 Blazer Bay

I recently purchased a 2200 Blazer Bay. The fuel gauge fluctuates from full to empty to half-full and is totally useless at this time. Any suggestions for fixes? Where is the access to the sending unit?

Are you having this problem in calm water?

I know the slighest bit of water movement causes it to fluctuate. I do not rely on the
fuel guage. I know I should get around 4.5 mpg on average. So I feel comfortable
using 40-45 miles on 10 gallons. I keep up with the odometer. I have measured my
gps against the yamaha digital components & its so close that I feel comfortable
with those readings.
