I went to get the boat out of the barn the other day, and heard something chirping every few seconds. The battery switch was off, so I was puzzled as to what it could be. Turns out, it is the automatic switch on the bilge pump trying to cycle the pump momentarily. The pump is under the back live well, and is gonna be a night mare to get to. Also, I am having trouble finding a direct replacement switch. The pump is a Johnson 1250 with the Ultima Switch. On one side the switch attaches to the pump, and the other side it attaches to the floor. Anyone else had this issue, and replaced just the switch? I didn't even realize the pump had an automatic switch, as it has never worked automatically since I owned the boat. I simply removed the fuse on the switch to end the chirping. I would like to replace the switch tho. Any tips?
