I have talked to the owner of the 04 and the motor has 265 hrs on it. I have not heard from the other owner.
Anyway, my questions are:
-Which motor is a better choice? I have read some of bad stuff about the hpdi and a lot of good stuff about the merc xs.
-How long between overhauls for each motor or TBO? Which one is more likely to give me problems? ( I am a mechanic but would rather fish than work on it
)-Which hull is better? 21ft or 20ft?
-Will either of these fit in an average size two car garage with the motor and swing away tongue? Garage measures 27ft diagonal.
I still need to go look at them and if I get serious enough take them out on the lake and may get them checked out by a professional boat technician. Any and all comments and opinions are welcome. Suggestions on stuff to look for upon inspection would be great. Thanks
