Need suggestions for Talon and trolling motor

I just bought a 2008 2220 Fisherman. I need suggestions on which trolling motor to get, specifically how long of a shaft and how much thrust. Secondly I am wanting to put a Talon on it but I have trim tabs on the boat and it seems that MinnKota only makes a 9" set back bracket. I don't know if that will be enough. Does anyone out there have a Talon with the trim tabs? By the way it has a 150 Suzuki with a Bobs Jack plate. Thanks.

Can't help with the trolling motor yet (my next purchase) but for the talon can't you get the mount that goes on the jack plate ?

Not running a Blazer, but I have a Talon that is mounted on a bracket installed in between the motor and jack plate. I think it would give you plenty enough room to clear trim tabs.
