I have 2006 HPDI 200 Vmax and received a letter stating that I will need a new oil pump. My dealer tells me it's a recall item and will not cost me any $$.
Has anyone else received a letter pertaining to this issue?

Your dealer is correct. It should cost you nothing. We did a few every week when that recall first came out till we got most of the people in the area set up. It's a simple ordeal so it shouldnt take your dealer any time either.

didnt cost a dime and didnt take long ..i brought the paper to them and had to go home and get the number off of the pump and he looked it up and odered it and changed it while i was there..vmax 225.. never had a problem with the old one but i love a upgrade---espiccaly if it's free......

i had mine done as well. i think they had an issue with oiling under heavy loads. the new pumps use more oil. pretty noticable!
