my 2220 pro rigged with the 300hpdi tournament loaded will hit 60 on gps if i have some chop, that is also running a blue printed 25m prop.
unloaded - (no trolling motor, 3 trolling batts removed, no gear, 2 men, and half tank of fuel) it will run 65mph if i have some chop, and 63mph if the water is sticky. that is running the BP 25m.
normal fishing trip 2-3 men, semi loaded... will normally run 58mph in sticky water and 61mph in chop. that is running a blue printed 26p tempest +
i know the pro does weigh a little more than the fisherman, but the numbers should be similar. i have been studying the SHO myself. i have always been diehard 2 stroke man, but would be willing to entertain the idea of not buying a couple gallons of yamalube every week. i would like to run a comparable boat to see actual numbers without the typical exaggeration factor.
