THE BLAZER DIFFERENCE

A FAMILY LEGACY SINCE 1978

BLAZER BOATS, INC. WAS STARTED BY THE CRAFT FAMILY IN 1978 BY LONNIE AND KEITH CRAFT

A family-run business in the era of big corporations that own multiple boat brands is rare, but the Craft family has been building Blazer boats since 1978 and has been serving as an industry leader in the high-performance bass and bay boat market for decades.

QUALITY

HIGH QUALITY, GOOD VALUE BOATS

Each Blazer Boat is custom manufactured by hand in our factory in Pensacola, Florida. The custom nature of our boat construction yields higher quality than any assembly line can produce. Every step of construction is closely monitored by employees that have decades of experience in composite boat construction. We definitely don’t produce the most boats; but we produce the best boats.

American made since 1978, Blazer Boats has been a leader in the industry. We started with a small line of boats and have grown to a full line of in shore and near-shore bay boats and some of the most sought-after and best bay boats on the market. The resale value of a Blazer Boat is higher than nearly all other boat brands out there. Blazers Boats, known for our performance and backed up with a warranty that's second to none.

100% COMPOSITE CONSTRUCTION

Constant Attention to Our Molds
Constant Attention to Our Molds

Our molds are meticulously maintained. Each mold is inspected and re-inspected for uniformity before each boat is built to insure years of trouble-free service. After the mold has been prepped, the building process begins with the applying of the gel coat. Then the first layer of fiberglass is applied. Alternating layers of matte and woven glass are sandwiched around a layer of Coremat® fiber polyester fabric. We use Coremat® for strength, added impact resistance, and for enhanced gel coat appearance. Each layer is hand laminated as it is applied for the most in uniformity and strength.

Adding the Stringers
Adding the Stringers

After the layers of fiberglass are applied, the building process continues with the addition of the stringers. On all Blazer Bay Rolled Edge Models, a stringer grid is built from foam-cored fiberboard and installed in the hull where it is completely encapsulated in fiberglass. The transom is constructed of layers of composite that are bonded together to handle the most powerful of today’s outboards. The fuel tank is installed along with PVC piping for the wiring and cables and all cavities in the hull are completely foam filled prior to the installation of the all composite floor. The corner boxes and the front deck are all glassed in place before the spatter finish is applied and the console installed. Throughout the building process, only the finest in stainless steel hardware and fasteners to stand up to the toughest saltwater environment are used.
