2200 Purebay Frequently Asked Questions

Over the past couple months, we have been highlighting our new Makaira and Purebay boat model lines and for good reason: these models include some of the most premium features on the market. While the Makaira line focuses on family friendly fun, the Purebay series is designed to offer the premium Blazer experience at an economical price.

The 2200 Purebay is the smallest in the Purebay series but still manages to pack quite the punch on the water. Every square inch of this boat is optimized for an all-day trek out on the water, whether you’re a professional angler or a hobbyist interested in competition-quality.

Here, we have outlined five of the most frequently asked questions when it comes to the 2200 Purebay. From its features and specs to the horsepower and storage capacity, everything regarding the 2200 Purebay is laid out here for your convenience.

What Features Make the 2200 Purebay Stand Out?

The 2200 Purebay is known for the premium features it offers at a budget boat price. Despite its smaller size, it has a large surface area dedicated to deck space both on the front and back of the vessel. It also has a wide beam, which provides additional stability to the boat in rougher water conditions.

Like many of our other models, there are several customization options available with the 2200 Purebay. For example, while the default model comes with a Suzuki DF 150 ATX, there are several motor options available from Mercury, Yamaha, and Suzuki’s model lines. There are also several options for trolling motors, depth finders, power poles, stereo packages, and much more. For a further breakdown of these characteristics, check out this article where we highlight the top five features of the 2200 Purebay.

What are the Specs of the 2200 Purebay?

The 2200 Purebay is 21 feet and 4 inches in length with a 8-foot, 6-inch beam that stretches across nearly 40 percent of the boat’s length. When including trailer and motor, this length increases to 26 feet and 11 inches. This model also has a 16 degree deadrise at transom, perfectly balancing between the stability of lower angles and the wave-cutting ability of higher angles. Additionally, the draft fully loaded is only 12 inches making the 2200 Purebay perfect for fishing in the flats.

The fuel capacity for this vessel is 60 gallons with a max weight capacity of eight people. The interior freeboard is 19.5 inches deep, giving you security while walking around the center of your boat without having too much of a gap between the interior freeboard and the raised deck area. With a maximum horsepower of 250, this vessel is packed with everything you need for an all-day trip out on the water.

What is Included in the 2200 Purebay Pro Package?

All of the Blazer Bay models that we currently manufacture include a Pro Package, which combines several of the most popular customization options into one simple package price. Each Pro Package is customized to each model based on what features are most popular with that particular vessel.

In the case of the 2200 Purebay, the Pro Package offers increased customization with a hull color of your choice, and either a black or white powder coat package on the metal work around the boat. Additionally, the boat comes equipped with a Simrad Evo 3 7-inch depth finder, taking your day on the water from just a hobby to competition-quality.

The base model of the 2200 Purebay’s starting price is $47,801, but with these additions offered by the Pro Package, you can have a competition-ready boat for only $3,444 more, increasing the total price to $51,245.
