2700 Hybrid Frequently Asked Questions

The 2700 Hybrid has become a classic among Blazer Boats lineup of models. This center console hybrid bay boat offers a perfect mix of comfort and style for your family while still having room for the professional angler experience.

Here, we have gathered some of the most frequently asked questions about the 2700 Hybrid including its standard features, specifications, and pro package.

Why is this Boat Called the “2700 Hybrid?”

The 2700 Hybrid earns its name from being a hybrid between an inshore and offshore boat. Inshore bay boats are often smaller and lighter than other models with a draft fully loaded less than 20 inches. They are ideal for fishing near shore and are popular for fishing in shallow bays, rivers, and flats.

The 2700 Hybrid combines aspects of both an inshore and offshore boat so that it can handle both conditions. It has a draft fully loaded of 16 inches, making it ideal for navigating shallow water. It also has a high internal freeboard of 24 inches combined with a stepped hull design, which makes cutting through larger waves a breeze.

With the versatility the 2700 offers you can target everything from catching redfish, trout, flounder, and other inshore species to targeting red snapper, trigger fish, grouper, mahi mahi, and even tuna offshore.
