2550 GTS Frequently Asked Questions

The 2550 GTS is a center console bay boat known for its high performance in shallow waters and competitive edge in bay fishing tournaments. This is more than just a boat: it is a tool to help you maintain peak fishing performance, whether you are beating your personal best or keeping up with competitors in a tournament.

Given the boat’s popularity, it is no wonder that we have gotten several questions about this model over the years. We have gathered some of the most frequently asked questions about the Blazer Bay 2550 GTS into one article for your convenience.

What makes the 2550 GTS stand out?

There are several features that make the 2550 GTS stand out against other bay boats on the market. The most notable one is its high performance in shallow waters. Whether you are coasting over grass flats or snaking down tight rivers, this boat is able to maintain a high quality experience across nearshore environments.

There are several features that make it so effective in shallow conditions. First is its padded hull, which reduces drag and leads to a faster, more fuel-efficient ride due to the reduced friction. It also has 10-inch full walk-around gunnels which provides unhindered 360-degree access to the water. This paired with its large, stable casting platform and plentiful storage makes it an ideal boat for those who want a high-performance bay boat experience from the coastline to the river.

For more information on these features, check out this article which breaks down the top five features of the 2550 GTS. Not only does it go over all of these features in more detail, but it includes high-quality photography highlighting each of these benefits.
