One of the things that Blazer Boats is best known for is our ability to customize our boats to the customer’s wants and needs. However, some can get overwhelmed by all of the choices in front of them. To help with this, we have designed Pro Packages alongside many of our most popular Bay fishing boats including those in our Makaira, Purebay, and Blazer bay series.
Each Pro Package is designed to include some of the most popular optional features our customers include in their boat orders. This way, customers that want additional features on their boats but don’t know where to start have an easy list of upgrades wrapped up in one simple package. These packages are designed to be economical and efficient, allowing you to get premium features at bargain prices.
What is Included in a Pro Package?
Each Pro Package is tailored to each of our models based on the most popular optional features chosen by previous customers. As such, what is included in each Pro Package changes from boat to boat. Some additions are more universal, such as hull color, while others are very dependent on the size and design of each vessel, such as depth finders. Below, we have broken down the Pro Package of each and every one of our bay boats sorted into their series line.
After our recent acquisition of BlueWave’s center console line, we are excited to introduce two new boat series to our fleet: the Makaira series and the Purebay series. We also have our most popular bay boat designs as part of the Blazer Bay series. Lastly, there is our Classics line which features some of our older Bay boat model designs.
The Makaira Series
Our Makaira series features two different models: the Makaira 2800 and the Makaira 2600. This line is designed to be family-friendly, pro-approved with a series of features focused on comfortability and intuitive storage solutions while also allowing space for top-of-the-line electronics and equipment. These two models are very similar with one notable difference: unlike the 2600, the Makaira 2800 comes with coffin seating with a toe kick in the forward lounge area.
The base cost of the Makaira 2800 is $148,262 and covers the cost of the hull, standard features, and a Suzuki DF 350 APX. The Pro Package includes dual Simrad Evo 3 12-inch depth finders, a powder coat package on the d-metal poles, and a hull color of your choice for an additional $9,088.

The 2600 Makaira is the little sister of the 2800 with a shorter length and reduced capacity. The base model including a hard T-top and Suzuki DF 350 APX comes at $124,627. The pro package adds several features including a hull color of your choice and a powder coat package. The most notable addition is the Simrad Evo 3 12-Inch depth finder, making this vessel well-equipped for the professional fishing experience without compromising the comfort and space for making memories with your family.

The Purebay Series
Our Purebay series of boats focuses on providing premium features at bargain prices for the ultimate value. These vessels are some of the smaller ones in the Blazer fleet, but are still able to have ample deck space and storage capacity for all your fishing needs. The two models in this family include the Purebay 2400 and the Purebay 2200.
The Purebay 2400 comes with a Suzuki DF 300 APX motor and starts at $72,911. The Pro Package adds several features to help you keep up with the pros, including a hydraulic jack plate, stainless steel propeller, and power assist steering. The console includes a Simrad Evo 3 9-inch depth finder, and a hard top supported by a powder-coated D-metal frame and a hull color of your choice. All of these features come at a deal, allowing the Pro Package Purebay 2400 to come out at $89,329.

The Purebay 2200 is very similar to the 2400, but is over two feet smaller. Despite this, the boat manages to still pack a punch with the Suzuki DF 150 APX in the base cost of $47,801. The Pro Package adds several new features, including the powder coat package and hull color of your choice that is popularly featured in many of the other pro packages. However, this one also includes a Simrad Evo 3 7-inch depth finder, allowing this model to be economical and suitable for professional bay fishing. The Pro Package Purebay 2200 comes out to $51,245.

Our Blazer Bay series includes five of our most popular models: the 2700 Hybrid, 2550 GTS, 2440, 2400, 2400 Open Bay Striper, and 675 Ultimate Bay. All of these upgrades are included in the Pro Package price of $81,472.

The final boat in the Blazer Bay series is the 675 Ultimate Bay. This boat is the perfect mix between a bass boat and a bay boat, with the flat design allowing for easy travel through rivers and lakes while having the wide deck and deep gunnels necessary for bay fishing. We have decided to focus our resources on improving our best models. The Classics line will stay just that – Classic – and as such, will not be getting Pro Package options.
Each of these Pro Packages are listed in the Q&A section of each of our Bay boats’ webpages. If you have any further questions, please contact our team so we can best assist you in getting all of the information you need.
