Top 5 Features of the 625 Pro Tour

Blazer Boats has been well known for our bass boat line ever since our start in 1978. It only makes sense that we would highlight our newest member of the Blazer bass boat family: the 625 Pro Tour.

Inspired by its predecessor, the 625 Pro Elite, the 625 Pro Tour is a significant upgrade that shares many similarities with its larger sister vessel, the 650 Pro Tour. With its overall length of 20 feet six inches, the 625 Pro Tour offers several notable features. Here, we have collected five of the most noteworthy traits of this boat model.

New, Wide Deck

The 625 Pro Tour features a wider deck than its predecessor, the 625 Pro Elite. The front deck features four multipurpose storage compartments and a built-in cooler that doubles as a step from the central seating area onto the front deck. The center compartment is perfect for storing several tackle boxes, while the largest compartment is well-designed for storing fishing rods or other large equipment.

The back deck is also quite large, featuring a similar step-up from the center seating area as the front deck. There is a multipurpose compartment behind each of the seats, with two livewells featured within easy reach while seated. At the furthest end of the back deck, there is a large lid which, when lifted, reveals the engine wiring and additional electrical work for easy access and maintenance.

These two decks together offer plenty of room for walking around the boat, making it perfect for fishing both in narrow rivers and wide open bays. This wider deck design is optimal for fishing long days with a crew of people, whether you are a weekend warrior or a professional angler.

Drawer Fishing Storage

The 625 Pro Tour features plenty of storage, as was touched on in the previous section. One feature that is unique about the 625 Pro Tour is its drawer fishing storage located in the centermost console of the front deck. This design enables you to carry boxes upon boxes of tackle and other fishing equipment in a way that is easily accessible and well-organized.

Here, you can clearly see all of the compartments and their capacities. In addition to the drawer fishing storage, there is a total of six multipurpose storage compartments, two livewells, and a built-in cooler. There is an additional, easy-to-access compartment at the feet of the passenger seat, perfect for storing your fishing license and other important documents.

Improved Stringer Grid System

The stringer grid system acts as the backbone of the hull, providing structural support to 100% composite construction boats. These stringer grids enable the fiberglass to be well-supported without the need for foam.

With the newly designed stringer grid system, the 625 Pro Tour is much lighter than its predecessor without sacrificing durability. In fact, the durability of the boat is greatly increased through this improved stringer grid system.

Upgraded Digital Switching

In partnership with Marlin Technologies, the 625 Pro Tour features our new and improved digital switching. Each tactile button is well-labeled and neatly wired to ensure ease of use and maintenance over time. Because the buttons are tactile rather than being accessed through a screen, you can rest assured that you will be able to have full command over your boat at the literal push of a button.

This digital switching system can be customized based on the features of a specific model. For example, one customization available for the 625 Pro Tour is the ability to add lights around the internal edge of the boat’s fiberglass lip. In this case, one of the buttons in the keyboard installed in the boat will control these lights, making for convenient navigation of your boat’s chosen features.

Fully Customizable Color Packages

Both of our Pro Tour models are fully customizable across a range of colors. With 20 colors to choose from for each pin stripe and section of the fiberglass hull, there are over 64 million color combinations meaning your boat can truly be customized to be yours.

For example, professional angler Wesley Gore recently acquired his brand new 2026 625 Pro Tour for the new bass fishing season in a striking pairing of purple and gun metal.

However, for some this fifth top feature of the 625 Pro Tour may not be at the top of your list. Budget may be much more important when considering your next boat. That is why we also offer the 625 NAP which includes the same standard top features of the 625 Pro Tour in a handful of pre-selected color packages. For a full comparison of our 625 Pro Tour and 625 NAP, check out this article where we break down the similarities and differences.
